Will You Be Attending is operated by Kurtz & Boon LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our websites, applications, demo tools, guest communication services, and related features.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through use of the service, and limited technical information.

Account and billing information

Name, email address, password credentials, account role, messaging balance, and paid-feature purchase history.
Billing identifiers and limited saved-payment-method details supplied by our payment processor when checkout, deficit charging, or optional automatic replenishment is used. WYBA does not store full card numbers.

Event and guest information

Event names, dates, locations, instructions, RSVP questions, message templates, and related event settings.
Guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, contact preferences, RSVP responses, dietary notes, household and additional guest details, and message history.
Files or text you upload for guest import, including spreadsheets, text files, or other guest list materials.

Communications and demo information

Email, SMS, and in-app messages sent through or received by the service.
Self-serve demo details, such as demo event information, contact details, demo messages, and assistant replies.

Technical and analytics information

Device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, timestamps, and interaction data.
Cookies, local storage, analytics tags, and similar technologies used for authentication, security, preferences, and usage analytics.

2. How we use information

Provide, operate, secure, and improve the service.
Create and manage accounts, events, guest lists, invitations, replies, reminders, and dashboards.
Send invitations, updates, demo messages, service emails, and SMS messages.
Classify, summarize, route, or draft responses using automation and AI-assisted tools.
Detect abuse, troubleshoot delivery issues, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.
Analyze product usage and improve website performance, onboarding, pricing, and features.

3. Automation and AI-assisted processing

We may use automation and AI-assisted service providers to parse guest lists, classify replies, draft routine responses, flag messages for review, and answer demo or product questions. These tools may process event details, guest messages, and related context needed to perform the requested function. We do not intentionally use guest message content to create public profiles or sell personal information.

4. How we share information

We share information only as needed to provide and operate the service, including with:

Communication providers, such as email and SMS delivery vendors.
Hosting, database, security, analytics, and infrastructure providers.
Payment processors if paid checkout or billing is enabled.
AI/automation providers that help process files, messages, and demo replies.
Legal, compliance, or safety recipients when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

5. Host and guest responsibilities

Event hosts are responsible for ensuring they have the right to provide guest contact information to us and to send invitations, reminders, and event-related messages. Guests may contact the host or us to request correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational limits.

6. SMS and email communications

If you or an event host provide a phone number or email address, we may use it to send event invitations, reminders, replies, demo messages, and service-related communications. We do not sell or share guest or host mobile phone numbers with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Message frequency varies depending on event activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages at any time, or HELP for assistance.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies, local storage, and analytics tools to keep users signed in, measure site performance, understand usage, and improve the service. You can adjust browser settings to block some cookies, but parts of the service may not work correctly.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability. Demo sessions and inactive data may be deleted or anonymized over time.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet or communications service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
